'Deadpool & Wolverine' remains No. 1 in its fifth week in theaters, with the hit film earning an additional $3.6 million over the weekend

It's an amazing race.

Even in its fifth week in theaters, “Deadpool & Wolverine” is still leading the box office.

It's expected to gross up to $20 million over Labor Day weekend, which would mean it would surpass the $600 million milestone in sales by then. As per deadline,

“Reagan” finished in second place, grossing $2.6 million on its first day in theaters.

This Ronald Reagan biopic stars Dennis Quaid as the 40th president, with Penelope Ann Miller as his wife, Nancy.

Variety said “The film, once again a light-hearted attempt to dramatize a key moment in 20th century history, will likely please partisan fans but won't win new ones.”

plan to take it $9 million this holiday weekend.

“Alien: Romulus,” released on Aug. 16, came in third with $2.2 million.

The sci-fi horror film, the ninth installment of the “Alien” franchise, surpassed the entire domestic box office gross of its predecessor “Alien: Covenant” in just 11 days. Collider reports,

“It Ends With Us” dropped one spot to fourth place with $2.1 million.

The romantic drama has caused quite a stir over an alleged feud between its stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, and this week, Rolling Stone reported Crew members of the film said Lively seemed like she did not want to be on set.

“Everyone knew they didn't like each other,” the crew member told the outlet.

“I think some of the rumors online seem a little strong. I don't think they hate each other. But I don't think they'll ever work together again. Their styles are too different. Blake is very business-minded and very practical. Justin … is so different in his way of making art that they could never be friends.”

“Twisters,” released July 19, returned to the top five this week, climbing to fifth place with more than $1.8 million in sales.
