Mattel is not that “popular” right now.
toy company Behind Barbie & Hot Wheels is facing criticism for accidentally listing the URL of a porn website on the packaging of its “Wicked” doll boxes.

On the back of the boxes is a link to the wicked.com website.
However, fans noticed that the domain is for a porn site, not the official website of the Universal-produced film.
The original site of the film is wickedmovie.com.

The mixup was revealed on X (formerly Twitter) by fans, who shared photos of the packaging and criticized Mattel for the mistake.
“Hey @Mattel whoever is responsible for your marketing/packaging for the new official Wicked dolls made a huge mistake! http://wicked.com Your packaging takes you to a porn site!” a person wrote,
“Hey hey, Mattel. This is not going to end well. On the back of the evil doll’s box is the URL of a porn site,” someone else Said,
“Oh my god, Mattel accidentally listed “Wicked.com” (porn site) instead of “Wickedmovie.com” (official site) on the Wicked Movie doll boxes. And it looks like it’s on most of the boxes in the assortment ( I just checked on eBay),” a third fan wrote,

Directed by “Crazy Rich Asians” filmmaker Jon M. Chu, “Wicked” stars Grande, 31, as Glinda the Good Witch And Erivo, 37, as Elphaba, Respectively.
The cast includes Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum as the Sorcerer, Ethan Slater as Bok, Marisa Bode as Nessaros Throop and Peter Dinklage as Dr. Dillamond.
The Broadway play, which premiered in 2003, starred Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel.
“Wicked” will be released on November 22, with the second part scheduled for release on November 21, 2025.
