Jay Mehta’s family life
Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla got married in 1995, in a hush-hush ceremony. The couple, who will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary in 2025, have two kids; daughter Jahnavi Mehta, and son Arjun Mehta. The Mehta-Chawla family currently resides in a palatial Malabar Hill home in Mumbai. Before his marriage to Juhi, Jay was married to Sujata Birla, industrialist Yash Birla’s sister, who sadly passed away in the Flight 605 plane crash in 1990.
Back in 2022, to commemorate Jay’s 60th birthday, Juhi Chawla took to Instagram to share kind words for her loving husband: “When I can’t make up my mind about certain things, when I need guidance, I know Jay is my very best friend. I can turn to him for anything and everything. He’s the person who helps me clear my head. When I am unable to see that far, I see him having that wider vision, wider perspective that I need at that moment.”
