The actress is none other than Samantha Ruth Prabhu, one of the richest South Indian actresses with a massive net worth of Rs 100 crore, according to New18 and other publicly available data. Samantha is also one of the highest-paid South Indian actresses, who charges between Rs 3.5-4 crore for a film, according to Times of India.
However, for this particular blockbuster movie, Samantha Ruth Prabhu charged Rs 1 crore per minute. The film was for Pushpa: The Rise, in which the actress performed a dance number to the viral song Oo Antava Mawa..Oo Oo Antava. For her performance, Samantha took home Rs 5 crore, according to India Today. The Sukumar directorial — the sequel to which (Pushpa: The Rule) is slated to release on August 15, 2024 — won two National Film Awards; Best Actor for Allu Arjun and Best Music Direction – Songs for Devi Sri Prasad.
