The actor, for a screen time of just 8 minutes, took home a hefty paycheck of Rs 35 crore, according to Times of India, ABPLive and other publicly available data. This means that Devgn earned roughly Rs 4.35 crore per minute for working in RRR.
In the SS Rajamouli directorial, Ajay Devgn essayed the role of the brave revolutionary Alluri Venkatarama Raju, father of the revolutionary leader Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan). His incredible cameo appearance garnered praise from audiences and critics alike. Ajay Devgn — who was last seen in Shaitaan and Maidaan — has three more big-ticket movies releasing in 2024; Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, Singham Again, and Raid 2. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is a romantic thriller film that also stars Tabu, Jimmy Sheirgill, Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar. The Neeraj Pandey directorial is slated to release on July 5, 2024.
Singham Again is the third instalment in the blockbuster Singham franchise; the action multi-starrer also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. The Rohit Shetty directorial releases theatrically on Diwali 2024. As for Raid 2, Ajay Devgn returns as IRS Officer Amay Patnaik in the crime drama, which is a sequel to the 2018 hit film Raid. The Raj Kumar Gupta directorial will be released on November 15, 2024.
