In April 2023, industrialist JP Taparia’s family spent Rs 369 crore to acquire a triplex in Lodha Malabar. A few months later, Madhav Goel, the director of Tufropes, invested Rs 121 crore in a spacious apartment on the 19th floor of the upcoming residential tower. Directors of Kandoi Fabrics Pvt Ltd, Rajesh Vijaykumar Aggarwal, and Rahulkumar Niranjankumar Aggarwal, also joined the bandwagon when they acquired two homes worth Rs 109 crore (Rs 54.26 crore for each unit). In the second half of 2023, Asha Mukul Agarwal, the Director of Param Capital, bought 3 units on the 24th and 25th floors of the forthcoming project for a whopping Rs 263 crore.
Last month (March 2024), Rekha Jhunjhunwala, who is the third wealthiest woman in India, made headlines for acquiring several units in a building to protect the unrestricted sea view from her prime residence in Malabar Hill, Mumbai. According to Money Control, Jhunjhunwala paid an amount of around Rs 118 crore to complete the transaction.
