Meet the world’s wealthiest dog that has a whopping net worth of over Rs 3,300 Crore, and owns a private jet, a yacht & other ridiculously expensive things
With a staggering net worth of Rs 3,356 crore, Gunther VI is the richest dog in the world, according to a Times of India report.
The origin of Gunther VI’s fortune dates back to 1992, when a mysterious Countess — Karlotta Leibenstein — tragically lost her son to suicide, and was left with no direct heir. She therefore left her sizeable fortune worth $80 million to her beloved pet, Gunther III. After the Countess passed away, the responsibility of managing this wealth fell to Maurizio Mian, an Italian entrepreneur and a family friend, who expanded the initial inheritance into a massive fortune.
Under Mian’s care, Gunther’s wealth multiplied to $400 million (approximately Rs 3,356 crore). The Gunther Trust, which owns several businesses, was established under his supervision.
With 27 employees dedicated to his well-being, Gunther VI enjoys luxuries that most humans can only dream of. A private chef prepares gold-flake-covered steaks for the billionaire pet.
Gunther, through his trust, owns properties across the globe, including a yacht and a $7.5 million (approximately Rs 47 crore) mansion in Miami that once belonged to pop icon Madonna. This property was later sold by the pet’s trustees for a staggering $29 million (approximately Rs 243 crore).
