Tyler Perry was treated to a royal celebration for his 55th birthday.

In the pictures, Meghan, 43, is seen smiling while sitting next to Harry, 40, in the back seat of a Range Rover.
The couple were joined by celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King and Alicia Keys at Perry's party.
Other attendees reportedly included Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his wife, Tracy, who are neighbours of the Sussexes and have gone to dinner with them before, including at Harry and Meghan's home. Sixth wedding anniversary In May.
An employee of a lighting company hired to decorate the party told the Daily Mail that there was “lots of music, dancing and singing.”
He also said, “Everyone was having a lot of fun. It was a good party. There were a lot of famous people at it.”

Perry has a long-standing friendship with the Sussexes. He lent them his $18 million Los Angeles estate when they left the royal family and moved to California.

I thought it would be sad if that was my father. And I couldn't imagine this woman finding the man of her dreams, and he's a prince, and then going into all that madness and needing the protection of the family and then having her father do some horrible things.”
Meghan said in the docuseries that she eventually contacted Perry while she and Harry were still in Canada, after they officially moved to the US.
“(It was) the first time we ever talked. And I just broke down, I was crying,” she recalled. “Sometimes it's easier to open up to someone who doesn't know anything. And that was the moment with me and Tyler.”
Perry is also godfather to Harry and Meghan's 3-year-old daughter, Lilibet.
