NBC announced a new version of the show in May 2024.

It will feature a diverse array of characters, including stars Sabrina Impacciatore (“The White Lotus”) and Domhnall Gleeson.

The untitled new comedy will be from Greg Daniels (who adapted the original NBC show) and “Nathan for You” co-creator Michael Koman.

According to Peacock’s description, the new mockumentary series will be based on “a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer journalists.”

For anyone doubting the possibility of a new version of “The Office,” Schur said, “I think Greg Daniels is one of the best people writing for television, and he won’t stop until Unless he does that. I thought he had a really cool way of doing it.”

Schur also reflected on whether he would reprise his role of Mose in a new version of the show if asked.

“You know what? If (Daniels) asked me, I would do it,” he told The Post.

“No one else. If anyone else asked me, (I would say) ‘Get out of here. No way. Fuck you.’ But if Greg (Daniels) called me on the phone and said, ‘I really need this to happen,’ I would do it in a heartbeat.
