eye flowers There are the latest additions to Minecraft and are now in the main game. These flowers react differently to the day and night cycle and this also affects bees. Additionally, you can make questionable stews and colorful dyes from these flowers. If you haven’t already experienced these new and unique flowers, this is for you. After studying them ourselves, these are the best things we found about Eyeblossoms in Minecraft.
1. Eyeblossoms respond to the day-night cycle
Eyeblossoms come in two types – open and closed. If you visit yellow garden During the day, you will see the petals of these flowers closed, upright, and brown.
At night, the flower will bloom and a glowing orange eye will be visible in the middle. It is an open eyeblossom and blooms at night. The eye in the middle may look like a glowing orange ball, however, this flower does not emit any light. Apart from this, when you look at it, it cannot be denied that EyeBlossom looks very attractive and scary at the same time.
2. Prepare Questionable Stew
Both types of flowers produce two different types of stew. If you use open eyeblossom, you will get a questionable stew that gives effect of blindnessWhereas using off will give you nausea effect.
To make these stews, open your crafting table and place a bowl on the bottom left corner. Place a brown mushroom on the right side of this bowl and place a red mushroom on top of it. Finally, place any flower type right on top of the bowl to fill the 4×4 square and there you have it.
3. Prepare colored dyes
Another cool fact is that you get to create some colors from both open and closed versions of this flower. Placing an open Eyeblossom in the crafting table will create an orange dye. Whereas using off will give you gray color.
Now, you can use them to color your favorite sheep, give your pet a unique colored collar, add banner patterns, dye blocks, give your signboard a new color and much more. Additionally, you can get orange and gray colors in your Minecraft world by mixing yellow and red (for orange) or black and white (for gray).
4. EyeBlossoms can talk to each other!
You may have noticed that if there are some Eyeblossoms present within a 3-block radius, they will interact with each other. Consider using a bone meal To spawn a few eyeblossoms close to each other on the grass in the Pale Garden. Otherwise, choose these flowers from different areas and place them close to each other.
Just keep looking for flowers that are really close to each other during dusk or dawn. You will notice that as soon as one of the flowers detects a change in the environment, it will use orange particles to inform the others within its range.
This way, if one of the flowers blooms as night falls, the others will do the same simultaneously, as if they had formed a network. The exact opposite phenomenon occurs in the morning when flowers close their petals as the sun rises.
5. Bees react differently to eyeballs
Since there are no crowds in the Pale Garden, you will need to move the Eyeblossom to a location where you can find bees. Now, in plains or meadows where there are bees around, placing an open eyeblossom flower would be a new and unique idea. However, this trick is only applicable during the night as the bees do not come near closed eyeblossoms.
Once the bee is attracted to the flower and makes contact with it, it will contain the poison. This effect will last for 1.25 seconds, causing the bees to emit curved green particlesEven though the bees are poisoned, they can still pollinate these open flowers. But, you cannot breed bees using EyeBlossom.
