Nathan’s lemonade-chugging contest on Coney Island turned sour Thursday when a contestant projectile-vomited all over the stage, video shows.
The orange-mohawk-topped contender had puckered up and downed a portion of his gallon of lemonade moments earlier — till the reigning champ swiftly finished his container and the Brooklyn match was called.
Then as the winner, Eric “Badlands’’ Booker, started walking off the platform with his champ’s belt slung over his left shoulder, he passed his fellow competitor — who promptly barfed, spewing liquid out like a fountain, according to footage.
The crowd broke out in groans.
Booker put his hand on the guy’s shoulder and patted him before the man was led away.
The champ, who has a YouTube channel that features him chugging soda, drank his gallon of lemonade in a new world record of 21 seconds, shattering his time last year of 23.08 seconds, organizers said.
Booker has won the competition every year since it started in 2021.
On the flip side, Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest crowned a new winner after longtime champ Joey Chestnut bowed out over a fight involving vegan dogs.
Chicago’s Patrick Bertoletti, 39, took home the famed Mustard Belt after wolfing down 58 dogs and buns.
Chestnut set the record, 71, in 2021.
