According to recent reports, Ryan Murphy has given a clear idea of what will be included in the third season of Monster. Ed Gein will be the subject of the third season of this Netflix anthology series.

This Season 3 topic is a bit of a surprise. In recent weeks, several production listings and reports have surfaced Barbara Roche, Reel Chicago suggested that Netflix would focus on the so-called Killer Clown, aka John Wayne Gacy. He added that production would begin in late October and that filming would also take place in Chicago later this year. It's unclear what happened here, but it's possible that this is a case of mistaken identity, given that Peacock is set for a limited series On Gacy right now, Michael Chernus is set to play the killer.
Deadline said in their article that Ryan Murphy's announcement was “unplanned.” This is also evident because Netflix Tudum has not yet covered the casting and theme of season 3.
Via the press release, Netflix announced that more information will be available in the coming weeks and months when production begins. There is still no information on Murphy's other projects at Netflix, including Watchman Season 2, which seems to be going backwards Demon Priority.
Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story premieres globally on Netflix this Thursday (September 19).
