Old nicknames are a big trend among expectant moms and dads preparing to welcome daughters in 2025, thanks to the “my best friend’s dad” baby naming trend.
,“I think we’ll start to see more traditional male names for girls like Drew, Noah and Dylan,” baby name consultant Colleen Slagen predicted in a recent report.

A new study conducted by SEO pro Julian Goldie found that kids who grow up to be billionaires often have old-school names like Thomas (nicknamed Tommy) and Mark (nicknamed Marky).

“The same can be said for millennial names like Tiffany, Caitlin, Courtney, Greg and Jeff,” Slagen said.
