My Kitchen Rules stars Simon and best friend Viviana recently made it through to the show’s grand final.
But the Italian chef has two reasons to celebrate this week – the TV star and his partner Victoria will soon welcome their first child together.

On Tuesday, Simon and Viviana appeared on The Morning Show, where they made the announcement.
“Yes. I’m going to be a father. And yes, it’s coming very soon,” said an excited Simone.
He said he would use the MKR prize money to prepare for the baby’s arrival.
“We have to be ready for this. So obviously, this grand final prize would be very helpful.
Many fans assumed Simone and Viviana were a couple, however, the pair are close friends — and morning show host Larry Emdur wanted to know if the pressures of competing on MKR have strained that relationship.
“I think our friendship has definitely grown stronger,” Viviana said.
“Simone and I, whenever we argue, we argue for about five minutes, but then we are very solution-oriented.
“So like, I think it really helped our friendship.”
Simone and Vivana appeared on the show alongside mother and son team, Kaz and Fergus, against whom they would compete in the show’s grand final.
And Kaz and Fergus also had some big plans for the prize money if they won.
Fergus said, “If we manage to pull it out and Mum and I are working on building a little restaurant at Mum’s house in Tassie, and that’s up and running, a big chunk of that money will go into that. It will be spent.”
“So, we’re going to try our best and yes it will be life-changing.”
The MKR Grand Final will air on Channel 7 and 7Plus on Tuesday at 7.30pm.
