She can’t imagine him as her daddy.
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, Christine Pelosi, hit back at claims that her mother and former President Donald Trump would be “perfect together.”
Punchbowl News reporter Jake Sherman claimed that the ex-commander-in-chief told House Republicans on his jaunt to Capitol Hill Thursday that one of Pelosi’s “whacko” daughters told him they would make a good couple.
“Nancy Pelosi’s daughter is a whacko, her daughter told me if things were different Nancy and I would be perfect together, there’s an age difference though,” Sherman reported Trump saying.
Trump is 77 while Nancy is 84. The presumptive GOP nominee’s current wife Melania is 54, younger than Christine Pelosi, 58.
It wasn’t clear which daughter Trump was referring to but Christine Pelosi issued a sharp-tongued rebuke swiftly after, claiming it was all a “lie” and that Trump had a “deranged obsession” with her mother.
“Speaking for all 4 Pelosi daughters — this is a LIE. His deceitful, deranged obsession with our mother is yet another reason Donald Trump is unwell, unhinged and unfit to step foot anywhere near her — or the White House,” Pelosi railed on X.
A spokesperson for Nancy Pelosi also denied the claim, telling The Post, “That guy has lost his marbles. Not that he had many to begin with.”
Trump’s campaign has also denied some of the reported remarks he made to Republicans during his visit to Washington, DC — but he does have a knack for ribbing his foes.
Ahead of 2024 hopeful’s swing through the Capitol Hill Club and Republican Senatorial Committee, Nancy Pelosi and a chorus of other Democrats bristled at his return.
“With his pledges to be a dictator on day one and seek revenge against his political opponents, Donald Trump comes to Capitol Hill today with the same mission of dismantling our democracy,” Pelosi said ahead of his visit.
“But make no mistake — Trump has already cemented his legacy of shame in our hallowed halls.”
Trump used his trip back to the nation’s capital to pitch a message of unity toward Republicans who have been mired by considerable infighting in Congress.
Photos of his trip indicate that he shook the hand of and sat next to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), with whom he has long had a frosty rapport.
“This was a great meeting. There is tremendous unity in the Republican Party,” Trump proclaimed after huddling with Republicans in the NRSC.
The 45th president underscored his desire for Republicans to score a robust majority in both chambers of Congress and expressed confidence in his party’s prospects ahead of the Nov. 5 election.
Trump will celebrate his 78th birthday Friday.
