German reality series Kaulitz and KaulitzAfter dominating Netflix's top 10 over the summer, it is set to return for a second season, Netflix has confirmed.
The 8-part reality documentary series, coming to Netflix globally on June 25, 2024, features a story based on the members of the popular band Tokio Hotel, the musical duo and twins Bill and Tom.
The series gave a glimpse into their personal life while living in Los Angeles and Germany, and it seems like the pair struck a chord with Netflix members.

Although the show did not make an impact in Netflix's top 10 in most countries, its performance led to it being renewed, particularly in Germany and Austria. The show also featured in the global top 10 for one week between June 23, 2024 and June 30, 2024, garnering 5.9 million hours watched, which is equivalent to 1 million views.
According to FlixpatrolSo far, the show has appeared in the daily top 10 in 10 countries, and here are the points it has earned as of August 7:
- Latvia (1 day – 1 mark)
- Estonia (1 day – 2 marks)
- Slovenia (1 day – 2 marks)
- Slovakia (2 days – 4 marks)
- czech republic (2 days – 5 marks)
- Hungary (3 days – 9 marks)
- Luxembourg (21 days – 120 marks)
- Switzerland (24 days – 151 marks)
- Austria (40 days – 248 marks)*
- Germany (43 days – 300 marks)*
Note: Both starred films are expected to continue rising in their rankings, as they remain in the Top 10 at the time of publication.
We've seen before that titles are typically renewed when they're global hits, but even then they can only make a big impact if they're in their top 10 for about 30 days or so. That's the case here, and given that reality series tend to be inexpensive, this is an easy renewal.
There is no date given for the show's return, but we guess that its release date could be 2025.
