We're in the middle of 2024, and while there's still plenty to watch this year, there's also plenty on the way in 2025. Here's our current preview of the titles that are currently confirmed to be released on Netflix globally in 2025.
Please note that this list is still a work in progress and will change dramatically in the coming months and years. It only includes what is specifically dated by Netflix to arrive in 2025.

WWE is coming to Netflix in 2025
Let's start with the important new live events that will take place as WWE hits Netflix. Announced in January 2024 Via Netflix and TKO (you can read our article here), WWE is coming to the streamer globally and live, but will vary slightly depending on where you live.
Raw will join Netflix in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and Latin America from January, with more regions to come in due course. Other WWE titles, including SmackDown and NXT, are also available on Netflix outside the US.
Confirmed Movies Coming to Netflix in 2025
- Bank of Dave 2: The Lone Ranger – Rumored to release in January 2025, this British sequel is about a small-town bank owner who goes after fraudsters.
- Brick (weight) – German thriller starring Matthias Schweighöfer and Ruby O. Fee.
- Fear Street: Prom Queen – A new horror coming-of-age entry following the trilogy arriving on Netflix in 2022.
- Frankenstein – Horror science-fiction from director Guillermo del Toro, to be filmed in 2024.
- in your dreams – Animated film from directors Alex Wu and Eric Benson.
- K-pop: Demon Hunters – Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans are directing this new animated feature film based on a famous K-pop girl group who also serve as demon fighters.
- Somewhat pregnant – Romantic comedy starring Amy Schumer.
- Little Siberia – Finnish film about a small town in which a meteorite falls that is very valuable. Directed by Dome Karukoski.
- Plankton: The Movie – A new SpongeBob SquarePants animated movie.
- Pookoo – Comedy animated film by Nathan Greno, directed by Skydance Animation.
- Electrical State – Rumored to be coming in March, this new big-budget sci-fi film stars Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt.
- The right way – Norwegian comedy.
- The Swedish Connection – Film from Sweden set during World War II, about a bureaucrat at the Swedish Foreign Ministry. Starring Henrik Dorsin, Sissela Benn and Jonas Carlsson.
- The Twits – An animated feature film based on the story by Roald Dahl by director Phil Johnston.
- Untitled Dutch Bobby Boormans film – Thriller centered around a tense hostage situation in the heart of Amsterdam. Starring Soufiane Moussaoui, Marcel Hensema and Loes Haverkort.
- Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery – third knives out Along with Daniel Craig, many other big stars are also making a comeback in this film.
- Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Foul – After 20 years, Wallace and Gromit return with another feature film!

New series confirmed for 2025
- Adolescence – British series from award-winning trio Stephen Graham, Philip Barantini and Jack Thorne. This is a real-time crime series shot in a one-shot style.
- Amsterdam Empire – Crime drama series starring Famke Janssen, set in the heart of the cannabis scene.
- Asterix and Obelix: Le Combat Des Chefs – New French animated series based on the beloved comic strip.
- Bear Hunt (Weight) – Reality series starring Bear Grylls, who hunts down celebrities.
- black Rabbit – Limited series starring Jason Bateman and Jude Law.
- got caught – Harlen Coben adapted limited series from showrunner Miguel Cohn.
- Diary of a Forsaken Girl (wt) – Swedish adaptation of Amanda Romare's novel, starring Carla Sehn.
- F1 Academy – A new documentary series based on the new F1 league.
- heart of Glass – Japanese live-action series based on the novel Wakagi Mio.
- Hevelius – Polish disaster drama series which tells the story of the yacht Jan Heweliusz which sank during a severe storm in the Baltic Sea on January 14, 1993.
- Gentry Chow vs. Underworld – This animated series, coming this winter, is about a Chinese American teenager who lives in a small town and discovers she is being hunted by a demon king.
- las muertas – Luis Estrada's limited series tells the story of pimp sisters named María del Jesús and Delfina González Valenzuela, aka Poquianchis.
- Leviathan – Anime series based on the novel by Scott Westerfeld.
- long story short – A new animated series from the creator of BoJack Horseman.
- Motel Transylvania – A new animated series in which Drac and Mavis take a break from their Transylvanian hideout to set up a new resort for humans and monsters in the California desert.
- our water world – Nature documentary series, from the team behind it Blue Planet II.
- Pookoo – This animated film produced by Skydance Animation is described as a friendship comedy.
- Project UFO – Polish drama about an alleged UFO landing in Warmia.
- Running Point – Comedy series by Mindy Kaling.
- Sakamoto Day – Starting on January 4th, this is a new anime series based on a very popular manga.
- Shirin David – Reality/documentary series about German female rappers.
- Secret Link: Dating After Dark – Dating reality series from the UK.
- Borough – The new sci-fi series from the executive producers of Stranger Things.
- Option – British series starring Suranne Jones and Julie Delpy, is a new political thriller series.
- The Eternaut – Argentinian sci-fi series.
- Glass Dome – Crime drama series from Sweden.
- Gringo Hunters – Scripted crime series based on a real elite Mexican police unit. This crime series will star Harold Torres, Mayra Hermosillo, Manuel Maslwa and Andrew Leland Rogers.
- Undertow – British crime drama starring Jamie Dornan and Mackenzie Davis.
- Witness – British crime series produced by STV Studios.
- Untitled MLB Red Sox documentary series
- Untitled Tom Segura Comedy Series – A six-episode dark comedy series.
- Wolf King – New animated series from director Tom Brass, based on the Weirdworld books by Curtis Jobling.
