happy Saturday! Welcome to a slightly delayed news on Netflix roundup, where we’ll be looking at 19 new movies, 11 new series, and one new game that were added to Netflix US last week.
Looking ahead to next week (full roundup coming tomorrow), Netflix has kept this week mostly clear of two big things: the NFL and squid game season 2. As we enter the New Year, the next week will be more action-packed with new movies and series.

Earlier in the week, we got a surprise pink-tinged gift from director Greta Gerwig in the form of last year’s Oscar-winning film, barbieThe film has been steadily rising up the charts since its arrival, but in case you missed it, we’re here to give it another quick nod. Based on the Mattel toy, you’ll see Barbie living in her dream world, but cracks begin to form, and she decides to show up for us here on Earth.

The biggest Netflix Original film of the week and the latest in Tyler Perry’s vast output for Netflix is a World War II biopic that tries to tell the untold story of a unit that is often overlooked for its efforts during the war. Is Given, which has an absolutely fantastic cast.

The plot revolves around Malik El Djebena, a young Muslim prisoner in a French prison who rises in the criminal ranks under the mentorship of Corsican mob boss Cesar Luciani. As Malik gains power, he attracts enemies, leading to a tense conflict with his master.

Squid Game: Exposed
In anticipation of the big release of Squid Game Season 2, Netflix’s internal game studio Boss Fight Entertainment has released its most ambitious project yet, a multiplayer mobile game that aims to encapsulate the spirit of the series in a Fall Guys-esque type of package. Tries. Design your player and play through different scenarios, like red light, green lightAs you compete against 31 other people in hopes of winning a huge amount of money to spend on your character and other goodies.
The game is completely free as part of your Netflix subscription on both iOS and Android, and it’s available for a limited time even if you don’t have a Netflix subscription.
