Netflix has been quiet this week. As you may have heard the election is over and as with previous election weeks, news and new releases have slowed down. With that in mind, Netflix saved its best new titles for the weekend but is there anything else worth watching? Here are the full details of everything new on Netflix for the week ending November 8, 2024.

Adapting the beloved Juan Rulfo novel into a film was always a tough task and judging by the fresh new reviews coming in for Pedro Páramo since its arrival on Wednesday it seems to be a mixed bag, but especially if you’re a fan of lincoln lawyer Star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. The film tells the story of a man searching for his father Pedro in a city plagued by violence and frustrated love.

Coming to Netflix over the weekend is the action-comedy that surprised many at the box office a few years ago. Now it’s Netflix’s turn to stream the film for the first time, after it streams on multiple services in the US.
Sandra Bullock plays a reclusive writer named Loretta Sage, who would never have guessed that she would be running through the woods in a bright purple dress after being kidnapped on a routine book promotion tour. Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe star.

The incredibly low-rated slice-of-life comedy headlined by Tony Bingham returned to Netflix this week (completely unannounced) after being on the streamer for the festive period a year ago. It joined Netflix along with a few other Christmas movies at the beginning of the week.
Dubbed “disarming and delightful” by In their review The WrapThe film follows a large Italian family who gather at Christmas and even prepare for an annual tradition which is shaken up this year when Tony invites Beth to the festivities.
