Kia India hits 250K milestone in vehicle exports

Today, Kia India proudly announced a remarkable achievement, surpassing the milestone of exporting over 250,000 vehicles. Since its establishment in 2019, the company has shipped a total of 255,133 units to more than 100 markets globally from its manufacturing base in Anantapur. Noteworthy is the Seltos model’s dominant role, constituting 59% of the company’s total overseas shipments, followed closely by the Sonet and Carens, contributing 34% and 7% respectively to the export count.

Tata Nexon, Punch EV attain 5-star rating in Bharat NCAP crash test; video inside

In a recent tweet, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, lauded Tata Motors and Tata EV for achieving a prestigious 5-star Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) rating for their Punch.ev and Nexon.ev models. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone in the Indian automotive sector, with these electric vehicles (EVs) becoming the first-ever 5-star rated EVs in the Indian market.
