Maruti Suzuki is providing discounts of up to Rs 1.5 lakh on its Jimny model across all Nexa dealerships in India until June 30. The Alpha variant leads with a substantial discount of Rs 1.5 lakh, while the Zeta variant is available with a Rs 50,000 discount during this limited-time promotion.
Introduced to the Indian market in June 2023, the Jimny has faced challenges in achieving significant sales figures for Maruti Suzuki. To stimulate demand, the company has continually introduced various promotional offers, including the recent Thunder edition launch at the end of last year, which reduced prices by as much as Rs 2 lakh depending on the variant.
Currently, prices for the Jimny start at Rs 12.74 lakh for the base Zeta MT variant, while the top-end Alpha dual-tone AT variant is priced at Rs 14.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powering the Jimny is a 1.5-litre K15 petrol engine delivering 101 bhp and 134 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a choice of a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission, coupled with four-wheel drive and a low-range transfer case across all variants.
