Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched the updated version of its Dezire sedan, offering it with petrol and S-CNG variants. The new model includes design updates, additional features and an emphasis on fuel efficiency and safety.

Prices for the base petrol model start at Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top model is priced at Rs 10.14 lakh (ex-showroom). The S-CNG variant is priced at Rs 8.74 lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine and performance
The Z-series is equipped with a 1.2L engine. The petrol variant offers a fuel economy of up to 24.79 km/l with manual transmission, while the S-CNG model offers 33.73 km/kg.

Available in manual and auto gear shift (AGS) for petrol variants; The S-CNG variant comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.

It features a new front grille, LED Crystal Vision headlamps, sleekline LED DRLs and 3D Trinity lamps at the rear. Additional design elements include a shark-fin antenna, aero boot lip spoiler, and two-tone precision-cut alloy wheels.
