Ola Electric announces ‘BOSS of All Savings’ after record-breaking festive season


Ola Boss of All Savings: Ola Electric on Thursday, November 7, announced the ‘Boss of All Savings’ initiative as part of its ongoing Biggest Ola Season Sale (BOSS) campaign. The announcement comes amid a strong festive season, which saw impressive growth in EV 2W registrations, led by Ola Electric.

As part of the ‘Boss of All Savings’ promotion, Ola Electric is offering savings of up to Rs 15,000 on the purchase of the popular Ola S1. The savings extend beyond the initial purchase, with customers benefiting up to Rs 30,000 annually through lower operating and maintenance costs compared to conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.

“To further drive EV adoption, the company is planning educational clinics at Ola Electric stores across the country,” according to the official release. These clinics are designed to “educate customers about the lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and improved performance and best-in-class technology features that are available in the Ola S1 portfolio compared to ICE vehicles.”

October 2024 turned out to be a milestone for Ola Electric, with the company selling over 50,000 units and registering 41,605 units (as per vehicle data), cementing its leadership position in India’s EV 2W segment. According to the release, Ola Electric now has a market share of 30 per cent and has registered a growth of 74 per cent year-on-year.

The company offers a wide range of S1 models, with prices starting at Rs 74,999 for the S1 More premium models including the S1 Pro and S1 Air are priced at Rs 1,34,999 and Rs 1,07,499 respectively.

Looking to the future, Ola Electric is expanding its service network as part of the #HyperService campaign, which aims to double its service centers to 1,000 by December 2024. The company also plans to expand its network to 10,000 centers by the end of 2025 along with training. 1 lakh third-party mechanics to make India’s workforce EV-ready, the official release said.
