Ola Electric expands to 4,000 stores nationwide, spearheading India’s EV revolution


Ola Electric has achieved a historic feat by expanding its network to 4,000 stores across the country. This represents a four-fold increase over its previous network and represents one of the most significant expansions in the global EV sector. This move reinforces Ola Electric’s leadership and commitment to drive mass EV adoption by entering towns and tehsils beyond Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities across India.

The expansion includes over 3,200 new stores, co-located with service centres, which aims to redefine the EV buying and ownership experience. This initiative fulfills the promise made by the company under its #SavingsWalaScooter campaign.

Special offers and limited-edition launches

To celebrate this milestone, Ola Electric has introduced special offers worth up to Rs 25,000 on its S1 portfolio, valid till December 25, 2024. Customers can avail flat discount of up to Rs 7,000 on the S1 Rs 18,000, which includes Rs 5,000 and Rs 6,000 MoovOS benefits on select credit card EMIs.

Ola S1 Pro Sona: Ola also unveiled the limited-edition S1 Pro Sona scooter, which features genuine 24-karat gold-plated elements, which has attracted significant interest from customers. The premium scooter offers a gold-themed interface, personalized MoveOS dashboard and great ride settings on the Ola app. Customers can also participate in #OlaSonaContest to stand a chance to win this special offer.

Smart features with MoveOS 5

Ola Electric has started priority registration for MoovOS 5 beta, which introduces features like group navigation, live location sharing, road trip mode powered by Ola Maps, smart charging and TPMS alerts. These updates aim to improve the riding experience across the S1 portfolio.

New scooter lineup and motorcycle launch

Ola recently launched its Gig and S1 Z scooter range, which caters to both personal and business needs. The lineup, priced between ₹39,999 and ₹64,999 (ex-showroom), includes removable batteries and flexible solutions for urban and rural markets. Deliveries will begin in April and May 2025.

The company also expanded its S1 portfolio with six offerings, ranging from Rs 74,999 to Rs 1,34,999, catering to the diverse needs of customers. At its flagship event, Sankalp, Ola announced the launch of its Roadster motorcycle series, which is priced starting at ₹74,999 and features segment-first technology and performance.
