Revolt RV1 launched in India: Revolt Motors has taken a significant leap by introducing its latest model in the Indian market – the Revolt RV1. This new product targets the commuter segment, which is a significant part of the Indian two-wheeler market with over 80 lakh motorcycles sold annually.
Available at a starting price of Rs 84,990, the Revolt RV1 and its premium variant RV1+ priced at Rs 99,990 are set to revolutionise everyday commuting with their affordable pricing and cutting-edge features. According to the company, these models promise three times lower ownership cost than conventional petrol motorcycles, making electric mobility more accessible.
The RV1 has impressive features including a 250 kg payload capacity and wide tyres for better stability. Its powerful mid-motor and chain drive system deliver effortless acceleration and a pleasant ride. Safety has been prioritised with dual disc brakes and multiple speed modes, including a reverse mode, a first in this category.
To enhance the rider experience, the RV1 features a 6-inch digital LCD display for real-time data, stylish LED lights, and built-in charger storage. With fast charging capabilities, the RV1+ can be fully charged in just 1.5 hours. Riders can choose from a 2.2 kWh battery offering a range of 100 km or a 3.24 kWh battery offering a range of up to 160 km, both of which are IP67-rated for water resistance.
Comfort and versatility are key elements of the RV1's design. It boasts the longest seat in its class and advanced suspension for a comfortable ride, making it ideal for families and daily commuters.
Additionally, Revolt Motors is upgrading its flagship RV400 with features like a new fast charger, reverse mode, improved safety elements and an extended range of 160 km.
