On September 30, Kidman returned to the public by stepping out Paris during fashion week.
The Perfect Couple star attended the Balenciaga Womenswear Spring/Summer 2025 show wearing a black ensemble and sunglasses.
She was immediately surrounded by photographers and started kissing fans.
Kidman also returned at the same time social media To share a special announcement – a new trailer will be released for their upcoming film Babygirl, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September.
Kidman matched the film’s pink branding and wrote instagram stories“Trailer Tomorrow”.
Last month, the Australian star left the Venice Film Festival after learning about her mother’s death.
Babygirl director Halina Razn released a statement on Kidman’s behalf while accepting the Best Actress award.
“Today, I arrived in Venice and shortly after learned that my beautiful, brave mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, has passed away,” Kidman said via statement.
“I’m in shock and I have to go to my family.”
“But this award is for him. He shaped me, he guided me and he made me. I am so grateful that I got the opportunity to introduce her name to you all through Halina.
“The collision of life and art is heartbreaking, and my heart is broken.”
Kidman and her sister Antonia later shared a joint statement on Instagram along with a series of family photos.
“My sister and I want to thank you for all the love and kindness we’ve felt this week with my family,” Kidman wrote on September 13.
“All the messages we have received from people who loved and admired our mother mean more to us than we will ever be able to express.
“On behalf of our entire family, thank you for respecting our privacy as we look out for each other.”
Nicole’s friends and colleagues, including fellow Australian star Naomi Watts, expressed their condolences following the death.
“Sending you both lots of love,” Watts said in the comment.
“So sorry for your loss.
“Your wonderful spirited mother will be missed by many.
“Hopefully she will now be peacefully reunited with your papa.
“love you.”
Actress Teresa Palmer said, “She’s absolutely breathtaking.”
Nicole’s ex-fiancé Lenny Kravitz – and father of her Big Little Lies co-star Zoe Kravitz – also expressed his sympathies.
“My deepest condolences to you and the family,” Kravitz said.
“I am blessed to be in his presence. Rest in power.”
