The Ambani family is known to shower each other with ridiculously expensive gifts from time to time. In 2019, after their oldest son Akash Ambani tied the knot with diamond heiress Shloka Mehta, Nita Ambani presented her with the Mouawad L’Incomparable, a Rs 451 crore necklace with 91 diamonds. Holding the record for the most valuable necklace in the world, the Mouawad L’Incomparable features a flawless 407.48-carat yellow diamond that is suspended gracefully from a 229.52-carat white diamond necklace which, in turn, is intertwined by 18-karat rose gold branchlets, as detailed by the company. The necklace was later displayed at Sotheby’s in 2022 and has since gone off-market.
3. Shiv Nadar gifts Rs 115 crore mansion to Roshni Nadar Malhotra
In 2014, HCL chairman Shiv Nadar bought a luxurious bungalow worth Rs 115 crore in the Friends Colony East area of Delhi and gifted it to his daughter, Roshni Nadar Malhotra. This was slated as one of the largest transactions (of that time) in an area of Delhi outside of the coveted Lutyens Bungalow Zone (LBZ), The Economic Times reports.
