NJ mom stabbed by teen on magic mushrooms reveals his chilling final words

A New Jersey mom stabbed by a random teen who was high on magic mushrooms has revealed the terrifying last words he said to her before he plunged a huge knife into her chest.

Donna Ongsiako was left fighting for her life after a then 16-year-old Brennan Doyle forced his way into her Colts Neck home back in July 2013 and attacked her.

In a new interview with CBS’ “48 Hours”, Ongsiako recalled opening her door to let her cat out when she came face-to-face with the knife-wielding intruder in the middle of the night.

“I tried to slam and shut the door,” Ongsiako said. “He stuck the knife through the opening, and I cut my finger so that I immediately let go of the door. And then he pushed his way in.”

The mom said Doyle then demanded she turn over her car keys, her purse and a lighter before he lunged towards her.

“He said, ‘You dead bitch’ and plunged the knife into my chest,” she recalled.

After the teen fled, a profusely bleeding Ongsiako said she miraculously managed to drag herself upstairs to get her cellphone to call for help.

She was able to call 911 and give a brief description of her assailant before losing consciousness.

Ongsiako ended up being rushed to hospital where she underwent surgery for seven hours to repair the damage.

Meanwhile, her attacker wasn’t nabbed until a few months later when cops linked him to the horror via DNA left in Ongsiako’s stolen car.

Doyle then told cops he’d used hallucinogenic “magic” mushrooms and was paranoid in the lead-up to the attack.

“The drugs turned me into a monster that night,” Doyle said during his 2015 trial. “I am truly sorry.”

Ongsiako, meanwhile, is still reeling from the attack and has since created a victim support group to help others involved in random attacks.

“You just keep going,” she said of rebuilding her life. “I did what I had to do to be here today, you know, and go another day.”
