Despite a Pentagon spokesperson’s denial on Wednesday, Van Drew stood firm on his point on Thursday Claims that unidentified flying objects came from Iran.
“These drones could very well be launched from a ship. It could be hundreds of miles out at sea. These types of drones cover very long distances… could this be China? Absolutely. Could it be someone else? It could definitely happen,” Van Drew told Fox News on Thursday.
He said the Pentagon doesn’t know what drones are or where they are coming from.
“They don’t know what it is. They don’t know what it’s about. They haven’t even taken one to analyze it. They don’t know where it came from,” he said.
