An upstate New York creep busted for performing a lewd act at a nature reserve refused to keep his hands to himself even after a pair of teen hikers smacked him with a fishing pole, state police said.
Rivera Rosario was allegedly exposing himself at the Tillman Road Wildlife Management Reserve in the town of Clarence around 4:15 pm Sunday when a pair of teen girls stumbled upon the troubling scene, the New York State Police Department said in a press release.
Rosario was allegedly “openly masturbating” in front of the girls, the troopers said.
“Despite their attempts to stop him — including hitting him with a fishing pole — Rivera Rosario continued his actions,” the release said. “The victims called 911.”
Police showed up and took Rosario into custody.
He was charged with public lewdness, exposure of a person and endangering the welfare of a child.
Rosario was released on a desk appearance ticket and is due back in town court next month.
