Two men in their 20s were stabbed aboard a southbound 7 train Sunday morning, leaving one in critical condition, according to the NYPD.
In the incident at 12.30 am, one youth was stabbed in the face and another in the chest.
According to police sources, a suspect was taken into custody and a weapon was recovered from the crime scene at the Woodside station at Roosevelt Avenue and 61st Street.
Both victims were taken to Elmhurst Hospital – where the man who was stabbed in the chest is in critical condition.
The condition of the man who was attacked with a knife in the face is said to be serious but stable.
No word on the nature of the dispute or the circumstances of the suspect’s arrest.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
