NYC man stabbed after ‘catcalling incident gone wrong’ near Manhattan bar: sources

A man was stabbed multiple times after a “catcalling incident gone wrong” near a busy Manhattan bar Saturday afternoon, cops and sources said.

The violence erupted around 12:30 p.m. at 502 West 51st Street in Hell’s Kitchen, when the victim was stabbed in the stomach, shoulder and finger with an “unknown object,” police said.

The victim was trying to stick up for a friend who had “catcalled someone” near the Dolly Varden eatery’s outdoor section when he was stabbed, a police source said.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

The restaurant’s outdoor area is located in a train car replica.

Anna Cork, a dental assistant, was walking home from work, when she was asked to go around the crime scene tape.

“There is so many crimes going on,” she said. “Living in New York City, I’m not surprised. That’s why I always carry pepper spray. It’s illegal in New York City, but I don’t care.”
