The NYT Connections today did try to rip me off in a few short categories by confusing me but I got along just fine. I began by journey with solving the Yellow category quite easily. The one word I was confused about was Hose but I found out it also stands for cheating by a quick Google search.
The Blue category came next with some effortless solving on my part. I’m not a plane guy but I feel being a car enthusiast gets me close enough to this field. The Green category was a bit trickier to solve as I couldn’t really put Crayon and Honeycomb together. However, a sudden image of the movie ‘House of Wax’ came to mind and I had this category nailed down too.
As always, there were only four words left. I got them all together, solved the Purple category and also the NYT Connections puzzle for January 21.
