NYT’s ‘Connections’ is a puzzle game that’s all the hype on social media these days. Connections gives players 16 random words that must be divided into categories they don’t know.

Answers for Today’s Connections Game (August 5)

The NYT Connections puzzle for August 5 had me rolling in between some interesting categories. I began by solving the utterly dark Yellow category. The Green came next with a touch of positivity as the game had me pick greeting cards.
The Blue category was solving instantly because of how much I love the word Capisce.
With all that done, I combined the last four words together to get the Purple category and the NYT Connections puzzle for August 5.
