One thing I’ve learned from my daily dose of Strands is that sometimes what feels like the trickiest of problems have the simplest of solutions. Seems like that lesson took a backseat today for I overthought out the theme a tad too much maybe. It’s rather simple. June 3 NYT Strands Solved

I don’t know why the theme today made me think of actors and sports stars that have only gotten better with age. After not finding anything of that sort on the grids, I realized that the Strands today was probably simpler. And, yes, finding YOGURT on the rightmost column confirmed that.

Right under it, there was MISO. Running like a Spangram at the very top was KOMBUCHA. Under it, there was KIFER and underneath it, KIMCHI. FERMENTED was the Spangram for the day. But, from the last couple of grids, I couldn’t make anything out.

After a lot of random trials, I decided to let Copilot have a go at it. Turns out, there’s something called a SAUERKRAUT that I was unaware of. And, well, that was the end of today’s Strands, and I had to take that help, so I’d count that as one hint for sure.

I’m certainly off to get a manicure appointment! What about you though? Was it too easy or did you have to use hints? Do cry your heart out in the comments down below.
