Today’s Strands required a bit of trial and error at first, for I couldn’t figure out the theme. However, unveiling some words in the grids helped and I made it through quickly right after. Every Strands game has that one Spangram that you need to decipher and today’s was no exception. The hint for today’s Spangram is – “Motivational phrases”.

If you have figured out the Spangram from the above hint, figuring out the theme words will be easy. However, I don’t want to ruin it for you. Instead, here are three theme word hints that may help you:

The Spangram for today’s NYT Strands puzzle is USEFULADVICE, and it runs from left to right in the letters grid.

List of Theme Words for NYT Strands on June 4
If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
- DIVIDE and CONQUER
- WATCH and LEARN
- FORGIVE and FORGET
After a lot of looking, I came across LEARN in the bottom right and immediately knew that I had to look for WATCH, which I found at the top right. Next, I found FORGET at the bottom left, and FORGIVE running vertically in the rightmost column.
Running edge to edge, I found USEFULADVICE as the Spangram for the day. Right under the Spangram at the left, I found CONQUER. Then, finally, I found DIVIDE in the top left and that was the end of today’s Strands.
