“One Tree Hill” alum Bethany Joy Lenz has revealed that she once had a falling out with her co-star Sophia Bush.
Lenz, 43, who recently published a memoir “Dinner for Vampires: Life on a Cult TV Show (In an Actual Cult, Too!)” Talked about how she was involved with the ultra-Christian organization The Big House Family, what he called a “cult”,
“I was using religion as my yardstick,” Lenz wrote in her book.
“My budding friendship with lovely Sophia became a victim of this and instead of sitting like Shiva tending to my ego, I really wish I could turn back time, go to her trailer and give her a long, strong hug. I can.”
“As much as she was bubbly and kind, she was even more intelligent…her brains could be put to good use by NASA – of course, she’s so beautiful that astronauts will never want to leave Earth.”
Lenz added, “I failed to notice that she was also working hard.”
“One Tree Hill” was a teen drama that aired for 9 seasons (on The WB and then The CW) from 2003-2012. In addition to Lenz and Bush, it also starred Hilarie Burton, Chad Michael Murray, and James Lafferty.
Before she appeared on the show, an executive asked her manager to give her a message. “You tell him this show is about fucking and sucking and if he has a problem with that, he shouldn’t come on it tomorrow,” Lenz recalled in his book.

Lenz said that at the beginning of the show she and Bush were so close that they adopted dogs together, before Lenz realized that she “wasn’t ready to get too close to Sophia.”
In 2021, Lenz and Bush began hosting their “One Tree Hill” podcast, “Drama Queens”, with Burton, helping them mend fences.
On the October 16 episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Lenz said, “We definitely talked about our time together at that time and how hard it was to reconnect and how good it was and to sort those things out. About feelings that were very mysterious to us.” Time.”

As for Burton, he said, “I love Hillary, I always have and always will and I have no problem with her. There are some weird misunderstandings, I really hope we figure it out one day, but I love that girl.”

Lenz recently met with several of the “One Tree Hill” cast members for the show’s 21st anniversary convention.
