What Happened in Oshi No Ko Season 1?
Ai Hoshino, a popular idol gets pregnant with twins and the gynecologist who was treating her gets killed mysteriously one night. However, Ai manages to deliver the twins somehow, and shockingly, her gynecologist gets reborn as her son Aqua. On the other hand, one of her die-hard fans also gets reborn as her daughter, Ruby.
The father of the twins never really shows up, and one day, when he is finally about to meet Ai and his babies, the idol gets stabbed by one of her stalkers. Despite being too young to understand the complexities of the murder, Aqua deduces that it must be the father who killed Ai.
Years later, Ruby and Aqua are all grown up, and the former wants to become an idol like Ai but her brother doesn’t want her to do that, of course. Aqua and Ruby suddenly come across Kana Arima, who acted alongside Aqua when they were kids. Kana offers Aqua a role in a television drama but he only agrees after learning that the producer can help him find his mother’s killer.
Even after trying so hard, Aqua couldn’t reach his goals, but as the anime heads toward Season 2, we can see him pushing himself beyond limits to solve the mystery behind Ai’s death.
