The 12-track LP, titled “short and sweet“, is filled with sarcasm, profanity, and sexually suggestive lyrics, which caused a stir among listeners online.

Mom Brielle Cherry admitted the hit song “Please Please Please” was “on repeat” and that her son had memorized a swear word in the catchiest part of the tune, saying the word “motherf-er” out loud on camera.
“Moms… be careful out there,” she captioned the post. TikTok clipto which Carpenter commented that he was “very sorry” and announced that he had abandoned the “clean” version.
“I'm afraid there's no going back at this point, it's a song he'll never forget,” Cherry said. “As long as he sings it at home, it's all fine.”
Fellow mum Hannah Jones revealed her child also loved the same song – and, reluctantly, the same swear words.

Meanwhile, Carpenter's young fans were embarrassed that they had bought tickets to join the pop star's tour with their parents before the album's release, but would only get to hear sexually explicit lyrics that they would inevitably sing in front of their mothers.
