At least some of the 911 calls that alerted deputies about the shooting came from victims who were inside the home and hiding in a bathroom, KIRO 7 reports.
According to FOX13, a dispatcher said during the call, “They shot other family members, I believe a total of five people except the RP (reporting party), who is hiding in the bathroom. “
Melis said the shooting appears to be a “domestic violence” incident involving a “young man who is in significant distress, and it involves a firearm.”
“Once the bodies are discovered, we clearly understand that this is an extremely significant crime scene,” Melis said.
After deputies arrived at the family home, they immediately arrested the teen.
Prosecutors asked the court Tuesday to charge the teen with five counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder, the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office said.
Attorneys Amy Park and Molly Campera, representing the 15-year-old teen, said in court that the teen waived his appearance during his first court appearance on the advice of his attorney.
“In regard to probable cause, we have received a 1-page document that outlines the allegations in this case. However, given the limited information we have and the short time to investigate the case before this hearing, we are deferring the matter before the court regarding probable cause,” the lawyers said.
“Finally, with respect to release, we want the court to know that our client is a 15-year-old boy who enjoys mountain biking and fishing and has no criminal history.”

“I keep crying bitterly. So I have to go to my daughter’s house because I can’t stay here alone. I just keep looking at the faces of the children.”
The parents reportedly kept to themselves, but the children were friendly and known to help neighbors with household projects, neighbors said.
“so polite. Homeschooled. It’s beyond comprehension what happened,” Cameron, a former neighbor, said, recalling the children.
The nearby Snoqualmie Valley School District confirmed that at least two of the victims were still “school-age”, although none of them attended a district school.
