Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie reunite in Peacock trailer “Paris & Nicole: The Encore,” Offering a glimpse of the dynamic duo 20 years after “The Simple Life.”
The three-part special, which premieres on Dec. 12, will follow Hilton, 43, and Richie, 43, as they perform an operatic take on their iconic self-dubbed phrase, “Sanasa.”
The trailer is narrated by The host of “The Traitors” is Alan CummingJoe calls Hilton and Richie “reality TV icons” as we watch the two pursue “their next big endeavor.”
Richie tells Paris’s mother, Kathy Hilton, about their opera performance plans – but Cathy doesn’t seem too keen on the idea.
“What they lack in musical skill and common sense of the art, they have to make up for it elsewhere,” Cumming, 59, says, narrating a clip of Richie and Hilton rehearsing.
Cumming says, “And to write his great work, he must first revisit his past.”
Hilton and Richie take a private plane to Arkansas where they visit a local bar as well as old “Simple Life” spots.
“So definitely gear up for an unforgettable experience,” says Cumming. “That is, if they can pull it off.”
The show’s official logline reads, “Two decades after bursting onto the scene with their pop-culture-defining reality TV debut, BFFs Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie return to the small screen in a brand-new format.”
“These reality pioneers are back the only way they know how: full of fun, chaos and epic one-liners!” Show details are ongoing. “In this new special, Paris and Nicole take fans through their lives and friendship in a way only true legends can. Get ready to fall in love all over again with this awesome duo as they put on an unforgettable performance.”
“The Simple Life”, which aired on Fox and then E! From 2003 to 2007, Hilton and Richie worked low-wage jobs such as cleaning rooms, serving fast food, and farm work.
Both confirmed in May that they were reunite for a new show On peacock.
That same month, Richie explained “Good Morning America” The project is not a reboot of “The Simple Life.”
“It’s been 20 years since Paris and I worked together,” he said. “We wanted to celebrate that. I can’t tell you much right now, but we have worked together to create something very special and exciting. I can’t wait for it to come out.”
All three episodes of “Paris & Nicole: The Encore” will be released on December 12 on Peacock.
