Dirty cabins aren't just confined to coach. A high-end entrepreneur who spent more than $6,000 for a first-class seat on Air India was shocked to find the seat had torn furniture, dirt around the seat and a faulty in-flight entertainment system.
He gave a detailed description of this actual flight Fire Festival in a clip 2.6 million views on TikTok,
According to the report, a passenger named Anip Patel had booked an expensive plane seat for a 15-hour nonstop flight from Chicago to Delhi. The Independent reported,
However, when he boarded the plane, he realized that his so-called sky throne was not actually fit for a king.
In the accompanying footage, titled “The Worst Airplane Ever,” Patel shows off his chaotic abode, which included torn and worn seats and cans, a single cold towel, and everything from headphones to power outlets covered in dirt and mold.
There was also hair in the sockets and furniture held together with duct-tape, like a youth hostel at 30,000 feet.
“Walk with me to the worst first class cabin I've ever been in,” complained an angry passenger. “Everything was torn, ruined or had mold on it. I understand normal wear and tear, but this was next level.”
Although dishes such as Thai red curry and mini samosas (a deep-fried pastry filled with spicy potatoes) on the food menu looked “very promising”, the flyer claimed these made up 30% of the items out despite there being only four passengers in first class.
Meanwhile, the items they had were pretty mediocre except for the soup, which Patel described as “absolutely delicious”.
To make matters worse, the High Roller claimed there was no Wi-Fi and the entertainment system didn't work during the entire trip — even after crew members reset it four or five times.

As a result, Patel said he was demoted. “Roaddogging” – staring into space – For full 15 hours.
“It was a nightmare,” said the weary passenger, who said he had taken freebies in first class, including pyjamas, as a consolation prize.
TikTok commenters expressed their sympathy for Patel's escape from hell.
“Air India is trash,” wrote one supporter.
“Hey, how's the economy,” another wondered.
“This made me really worried, I hope you got your money back,” a third expressed concern.
Thankfully, after the video went viral, Air India refunded Patel the full amount for his dilapidated seat.
He wrote, “I did not file any complaint with Air India but saw this video through social media – they called me today and refunded my full flight fare, they corrected it and that's worth noting.”
