Patrick Mahomes will not be publicly endorsing any presidential candidate in this year’s election.
The Chiefs quarterback told reporters on Wednesday that while he won't tell people who to vote for, he will urge them to register to vote in the upcoming November election between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.
“I've always said I don't want my position or my platform to be used to endorse any candidate,” he said. “I think my position is to inform people to get registered to vote, to inform people to do their own research and then make the best decision for themselves and their families.”
