Phaedra Parks shares some new details Her “Housewives” Return,
The 50-year-old actress revealed what viewers can expect from Season 16 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” now that she's officially joined the cast after a six-season hiatus.
“It’s going to be great,” Parks exclusively told The Post on Tuesday after “Dancing With the Stars” Week 2. “The new Housewives are definitely spicy, and Frick and Frack are back. It’s going to be very tasty, gumbo with a lot of spices.”
Frick and Frack, of course, is the nickname for her and her best friend Porsha Williams, who returned to the cast after leaving the show following season 13.
Earlier this month, Parks opened up about filming alongside Porsha, Drew Sidora, Cynthia Bailey, Shamea Morton Mwangi, and new actresses Brittany Eddy, Kelly Ferrell, and Angela Oakley.
“It's been absolutely amazing,” the reality star revealed. E! News“I felt like I was back home.”
“When Frick and Frack come back, darling, it's going to be a lot of fun,” Parks teased.
“DWTS” contestants are also happy with the new cast, with longtime stars Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore departing the show.
“Sometimes when shows have the same cast for a long time, people aren't being their true selves,” Parks confessed. “So, now, I think bringing some new energy back will shake it up, but in a good way. In a positive way.”
Parks confirmed the news in July by releasing a photo of herself disembarking from a private plane.
“You called. I answered,” Parks wrote. Instagram at the time, adding a peach emoji.
But before the new season airs, the “Traitors” alum is enjoying her time in the ballroom as she competes on Season 33 of “Dancing With the Stars” with partner Val Chmerkovskiy.
And in Parks' eyes, winning also includes taking control of your diet.
“Smoked salmon,” Parks shared in a post about her favorite meal after a night of dancing. “I know I'm weird. I love smoked salmon. I'm very, very, probably weird with my eating, so when I'm competing or anything like that, I focus a lot on protein, arugula salad.”
“I eat the same thing every day. I don't vary my meals,” she admitted.

The professional dancer's wife, Jenna Johnson, and partner, former “Bachelor” star Joey Graziadei.
“We're on Joey and Jenna's side,” Chmerkovskiy said.
“Yeah, absolutely,” Parks responded. “I mean, she's so sexy. She's so beautiful. I mean, they're so beautiful together.”
Giving some love to her right-hand man on the show, the “RHOA” star quipped, “That ain’t no chopped liver, that’s some Wagyu steak too!”
