Prince Andrew is facing increasing pressure to reveal the mystery financier who has allowed him to avoid being ousted from the Royal Lodge.
The disgraced Duke of York, 64, was set to give up his vast estate in the grounds of Windsor Castle after King Charles refused to shoulder his brother’s burden financially.
However, on Friday, it sensationally emerged that Andrew had found a last-minute financial backer – allowing him to keep his royal duties.

It has been reported that Michael Stevens, Keeper of the Privy Purse, approved Andrew’s financing, leading to widespread speculation as to where the money came from.
