Despite all odds, Prince William and Kate Middleton are ‘like two teenagers in love’

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s love story goes back decades and it’s still going on.

Roya Nikkha, royals editor for The Sunday Times and co-host of the podcast “The Royals with Roya and Kate,” told Fox News Digital that after a tumultuous year, the Prince and Princess of Wales are “still in love with each other Has happened”.

“When you see them at engagement ceremonies, they obviously still love each other very much,” Nikkha said. “One is always looking out for the other. Recently, when they were together in Southport, you could see… she was a little more insecure. “I think they’ve got each other’s backs.”

“I think when you have the weight of public scrutiny, it’s very difficult to keep your personal life a little bit private because you’re so publicly scrutinized,” Nikkha explained. “But if you look at the video they put out when (Kate) announced she had completed chemotherapy, we’ll never see them like that again.”

“He postponed the start of full-time royal duties as long as possible for this purpose,” FitzWilliams said. “William and Catherine… have always indicated their personal closeness and harmony, which they present very well in public, as well as their competitive spirit, especially when relaxing during royal tours in which Competitive sports are involved.”

“As the future king and queen, they have a loving family who is the center of their lives,” he shared. “The recent video shows an intimate moment between Katherine when she told us she is cancer free. The royal family isn’t known for public displays of affection, but their body language speaks volumes. Catherine’s illness makes spending so much time with William as she wishes, if this is possible, to bring them even closer.

The Prince and Princess of Wales met in 2001 as students at the University of St Andrews. They got married in 2011. The couple have three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The royal family has been battling health concerns this year, starting with the announcement in January that King Charles III would undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate and Kate would undergo abdominal surgery.

In February, Buckingham Palace announced that Charles was receiving treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer. Six weeks later, Kate said she was also undergoing cancer treatment, ending persistent speculation on social media about her condition following her surgery.

Following Kate’s announcement, William took time out to support his wife.

In September, the 42-year-old announced she was cancer-free. The princess, who came with her husband and children, told how difficult the last nine months have been for her family. He expressed “relief” at completing his treatment.

“This time has first and foremost reminded William and I to reflect and be grateful for the simple but important things in life that many of us often take for granted. Just to love and be loved,” she said.

British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News Digital that the Prince and Princess of Wales are enjoying “a happy, stable family life full of fun, love and laughter.”

“They try to keep most of their touchy-feely lives private,” Chard said. “During his early years, he enjoyed partying in some clubs. But over the years they have energized and energized each other by enjoying competitive sports and embracing all that is enjoyable outdoors.”

“The Prince and Princess of Wales are best friends, each other’s allies and cheerleaders,” Chard said. “Laughing and enjoying the little things in life together is his medicine. Princess Catherine’s unexpected illness and scary cancer journey have brought them closer to the realization that life is too fragile. They love and appreciate each other more than ever.”

During his visit to Cape Town, South Africa on 7 November, William admitted that 2024 was the “brutal” and “toughest year” of his life. He considered becoming Prince of Wales following the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022.

“It’s been really hard to go through everything else and keep everything on track,” the 42-year-old said, as quoted by People magazine. “But I’m very proud of my wife, I’m proud of my dad, for the job he’s done. But from a personal family perspective, it’s been … brutal.”

William also commented that Kate is “doing well.” Told that he looked relaxed, the prince said, “I couldn’t be less relaxed this year, so it’s very interesting that you all are seeing it.”

“But it’s just a matter of moving forward and you have to keep moving forward,” he said. “I enjoy my work, and I enjoy pacing myself and making sure I have time for my family, too.”

British royals expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital that as soon as Kate returns to royal duties, William will be with her for much-needed support.

Fordwich said, “A picture says a thousand words and there were times when their affection was reminiscent of two teenagers in love, albeit in their early 20s.”

“William played water polo and trained for swimming at the Old Course Hotel pool, the same pool where Kate swam many mornings,” she said of their early years getting to know each other.

“There their athletic tendencies were evident to each other, even though at that time they were just friends. Getting up before 5 a.m. on a dark winter morning is not for most university students. They knew each other were health conscious, yet they had another trait in common. It was here that they developed a comfort with each other.”

Fordwich shared, “Their displays of public affection these days show that they have no hesitation or objection to telling the world how they feel about each other when they feel it is appropriate to do so. ” “Their comfort with each other has never diminished, but rather increased, because of those deep bonds formed at university.”
