Robbie Williams Felt “angry” and “saddened” at rumors about his sexuality.
The 50-year-old pop star – who is married to actress Ayda Field – has spent years dodging speculation about his love life, but he believes stories about him being secretly gay are not true.
“I was angry,” he told the Guardian newspaper. I was more sad. Not about the gay accusations, because look, I’ve been everything but shit.

“Honestly, you’ve never met anyone who wants to be gay as much as I do.”
Williams explained further, using a soccer club analogy: “I’m a Port Vale fan and it’s like someone saying: ‘Okay, you’re a Liverpool fan’.
“And I’m saying: ‘No I’m not, I’m a Port Vale fan.’ It happens a hundred times when someone says you’re a Liverpool fan: ‘I’m not a Liverpool fan, why do people think I’m a Liverpool fan?'”
He concluded: “You want to be an ally and also protect your authenticity and your life. Besides, if I want to suck a**k, I’ll suck a**k. who Gon Stop Me? my wife? Beard!”
Williams has four children with Ayda – 11-year-old Teddy, nine-year-old Charlie, five-year-old Coco and four-year-old Beau – and has been married for 14 years.
They had previously planned to renew their wedding vows to celebrate their 10th anniversary, but they had to cancel the idea due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so they held a late ceremony earlier this year.
In an Instagram message, Williams wrote: “Oh, me and Ayda renewed our vows. I’m so very, very grateful. I’m grateful right now. I’m not tired and stressed in the future. I’m grateful to be here right now. “
Field previously recalled the couple’s wedding day in 2010 to Britain’s Hello! Magazine: “Wow, what a journey we are on, what a beautiful, blessed journey.
“I feel grateful knowing that the man I love is still the same man I am married to today, but even better. Our families are there too – you don’t realize how precious these moments are.
“We have really put in a remarkable performance and that day was the beginning of it. It’s a beautiful thing when you’re in a healthy relationship. I feel very fortunate that he inspires me to be a better person and I inspire him too.
