Selena Gomez reveals she can't have kids.
The 32-year-old actress and singer said in an interview Vanity Fair The report, published on Monday, said her “medical problems” prevented her from having a safe pregnancy.
“I never said that, but unfortunately I can't pick up my kids,” Gomez said.
“I have a number of medical problems that could put my life and that of my baby at risk,” she said. “It was something I had to suffer through for some time.”

Gomez was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2018.
Speaking about alternative ways to become a mother, Gomez told Vanity Fair, “It wasn't necessarily what I thought it would be. I thought it would be the same as it is for everybody else. (But) I'm in a much better place.
“I feel blessed that there are amazing people who are willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me,” she added. “It made me really grateful for other outlets for people who are dying to be moms. I am one of those people. I'm excited about what this journey will be like, but it will look a little different. At the end of the day, I don't care. It will be mine. It will be my baby.”
The “Emilia Perez” star also said she's not pressuring her boyfriend, music producer Benny Blanco, to have kids just yet.
“We always make sure we're protecting what we have, but there are no rules,” she said. “I want him to always be himself. I want him to always be himself.”
Earlier this year, Gomez told Time Magazine She decided that she would adopt at age 35 if she remained unmarried.
“I was alone for five years, and I got used to it,” she said. “A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I tortured myself in my mind to be alone for probably two years, and then I accepted it. Then I made my plan, which was that if I hadn't met someone by the age of 35 I would adopt.”
In 2022, Gomez admitted in an interview Rolling Stone She probably won't be able to give birth to children of her own because her body has been through so much.
“This is a huge, big, present thing in my life,” she said, adding, “However I want to get them, I'll get them.”
