Serena Williams’ family is very grateful for this Thanksgiving. Media Take Out confirmed that her husband Alexis is recovering successfully after surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his thyroid.
Alexis shared on her X account today that she had some lumps removed from her thyroid that “could potentially turn into cancer.” The entrepreneur revealed that he was first diagnosed with nodules 4 years ago.
And during a recent checkup, doctors noticed the lumps growing and decided to remove them. He is recovering well and is expected to be back to full strength in no time.

He also revealed that his mother died of cancer when he was 41, the same age.
