Shannon Sharp criticized Megan Thee Stallion yesterday, but now the sports star is claiming it was a mistake, Media Take Out has confirmed.
Yesterday the former NFL star and current ESPN personality made a viral comment on Twitter defending his comments about WNBA star Kaitlynn Clark's rookie season.
But Neg couldn't help himself. The podcaster, known for making a mess on his Ckub Shay Youtube show, attacked Megan Thee Stallion – prompting Meg's fans to react and accuse her of anti-Blackness.
“Why are you my page?” He responded to a critic. “Don't you have another horse 2 robe of his hair? Stop trying to kill my vibe.”
The woman's profile picture was a picture of Meg the Stallion – so Shannon's resentment was not directed towards the woman – but towards Meg.
Twitter users immediately pointed out his mistake and called him anti-black. azoic
“Shut up, you anti-black* who just exposed this because you replied to someone with Megan Thee Stallion’s AVI talking about horse hair. Keep your mouth shut!!! One user replied.
“That's a very anti-Black thing to say,” added another. “Oh my God, this n## is really healing now, son.”
Shannon Sharp has repeatedly denied criticizing Megan Thee Stallion but continues to hit back at her critics.
“What's even more anti black is that y'all say there are 2 black people you don't even know,” he wrote. “I don't walk up to people and talk casually, but some of you do and that's when the reaction isn't what you hoped for. 4. You're the antithesis of the black, buck dance. You will get what you give.”
After several more exchanges, Sharp had a change of heart and released the PSA.
“25th September 2024 at 6:06 pm. I will not give any kind of negative feedback anymore.'' “It is not a serious matter for me. I have kids and I would be upset with them if* they reacted this way. This is beneath me. You all pray for me.
